Picking up where we left off in part 1, Birdman, Jason, and myself continue letting you know where we banged our heads the most on our Top Metal Shows of 2017 list with our number 4’s!

Birdman – Bloodletting Fest: Stanhope, NJ

Birdman:  Defeated Sanity, Origin, Archspire, Dysnicate and the Kennedy Veil played.

Jason: I wish I could make it. How was Defeated Sanity?

Birdman: Wierd. The singer kept getting off and on stage. Visceral Disgorge were fun but cheesy. Kennedy Veil didn’t impress me. The rest all did well.

Anthony: Defeated Sanity is who I’d mostly be there for since I missed most of their set for Voivod at MDF 2011. Origin is like Goatwhore never boring live no matter how many times I see them.

Birdman: Security is a bitch but I can get drunk and eat a lot lol.
Jason:  AHHH right by the shore. Anyway, Anthony whats your #4?

Birdman : I really regret not taking off for that. Mainly for Warbringer in their new album cycle.

Jason: I haven’t seen Warbringer in 7 years. Still need to see DT.

Anthony: DT was awesome live and had a great setlist. Only problem is they rarely went before 2000.

Jason: Warbringer takes me back to High School.

Anthony: Same, my first modern thrash band.

Jason: I saw them 3 times and they always delivered.

Birdman: What did you think of Striker?

Anthony: I only ever saw Warbringer once with Iced Earth before this. Striker was Meh, Lyon Emily and I made fun of them,

Birdman: Emily liked Wabringer but found DT boring the punk that she is.

Jason – 1fest

Jason: This fest featured ACXDC, Cloud Rat, Backslider, Die Choking, Escuela, Goolagon,Grindmother ,Chepang, Death Vacation and Sick Shit. In a nutshell, 10 bands,10 mosh pits.

Birdman: How were Escuela? They were supposed to play with us but dropped off.

Jason: Great and great when I saw them again in September.

Anthony: How were Grindmother?

Jason: Not gimmicky at all. Just an old Canadian yelling at the mic. Very fun. Chepang were definitely the best of the bill. Sick Shit I know as people from Punk Island. Every band killed that night.

Anthony: Goolagoon was so sick at MDF.

Jason: They were.
